Burned out on summer!

It's supposed to be back around 90 next week

Had to look at something that wasn't from summer! One from last winter.

I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I guess I could go carping. But I love the cold miserable days and no one else on the water.

I'm not sure I'm ready for winter, but I will say that some days fishing I've bailed by early afternoon because I was just not enjoying myself in the 90+ heat. Not to mention my summer success is slightly lower than usual. Am I becoming a pansy with my wilting in the heat? Where is my SoCal heat hardiness from my childhood? I guess 33 years in Oregon has thoroughly squashed it

Mad dog, I felt the same way when I moved down here. Too much heat made it hard to fish for me, kind of wanted fall to come. But I remembered my boat top in the shed. Put that thing on and get in the shade, works for me. Feels fine and maybe like 20 degrees cooler? Maybe get a top or one of those big rainbow umbrellas for your db and go get some!
