We got some access to a farmer's pond in the salem area and it paid off. Caught a few and unfortunately lost my PB at the shore.. devastating.. my best friend's wife did manage to land a big fish though. She was very excited.

How deep was the water where your power boat sunk ?

P + iJ, an imaginary poor joke where no one gets the joke ?.

Nice fish there, very curious not knowing what these farm ponds are like. Back home, they are mostly very small, seasonal and these days free of fish. Was it a big deep pond, managed or just left for it's own whatever you call it? And how big were the fish?

Haha I didn't catch that joke at first read..

To be honest with you I am not sure about this pond, and have had that same question with random farm ponds. Its actually pretty large, like a small lake. We just saw this pond, found a number, and called him up - he was a very nice guy. It's very close to the Willamette so I wouldn't be surprised if it floods in the winter and give access to some bass or something. Most bass caught were in the 12" range but a few hogs were hooked.
