Anyone hit the Nestucca recently?

Now that I've stocked back up on hardware after a weird day on the coast a couple weeks ago, I was thinking of heading to the Nestucca on Tuesday. But if it's been slow I might sit tight for a couple weeks. Does anyone have any thoughts or reports on how it's been fishing recently? Thanks!

Thanks troutmasta - seems like late December's been a bit slow on the N Coast, with some exceptions (your Coastal Grand Slam post comes to mind...)

Now is the time to hit the Tucca.. It hasn't fished since the storm, so there's the early three river stock fish waiting to be caught...

You won't be alone, though.

The Nestucca just got back into shape today and is still a little on the high side. The upper river will fish first and I don't like to fish it until it gets below 6.8 but I know some will plunk it when it's around 7 feet. From now until the end of April should be good for steelies.
