I showed up about 10AM set my chair up and rolled the old power bait onto my single barbless hook (I planned on releasing all I might catch), tossed it out into the canal, and couldn't even set my rod into the holder before I was on.
And so it went for almost two hours.
Folded up my chair and left at noon, quite happy with fishing today.
I don't think my line was in the water for more than 30 seconds at any time without getting bit.
Fun day.
On an even better note, the fish were of a better quality than the last couple plants, with almost every fish nearing the one pound mark.
