We were supposed to head out early in the morning for deer, but we got sidetracked with some Salmon Fever
Spent all day "hunting" for fish at Eagle Creek, and spent most of the morning at bonnie lure. Saw a few fish hooked at the bridge, and I landed a nice native hen. At about noon we headed to Eagle Fern to look around. And at about 3:00 we were able to find some. My father hooked 4 and landed one 8 pound hen. And I hooked 2 and landed a 6 pound hen.
All in all a suprising day as we were able to find a small pod of fish in the park, but we still need rain to find any DECENT numbers in the creek.
The fish had a tad bit o' color but the meat cut bright orange/red and the eggs were really firm.
