7 Lb. Rogue River Steelhead on the 5 wt.

On 3/11 Chad (thesalmonkid) of Fishing Wild, and I (Phil_Bud) of Young Gun Anglers Lords of the Stream, hit the Upper Rogue River. The game was on in the early morning, he missed a nice one first, then I hooked and landed a beauty of a 7 pound hen a few minutes after. We snuck up on a good number of fish holding in this awesome little seam. The first half hour was jam packed. With the help of my new tripod I was able to catch this bit of awesome HD action. It was a great day to be fishing. Pulled a few nice pictures out of the video.

It was Moe. I've landed a 7 pounder in that seam on my spinning rod before and the comparison of the fight was like night and day. Im hooked!
