3 for 3 on the Sandy

[Hooked Up]

The river was in pretty good shape considering all the rain we've had. Tried plugs and hardware with no success. Got into some slow moving water and marabou jigs and the pink worm were the hot ticket. 3 fish to the boat in less than a half hour. 3 carp that is, at least we all hooked something. We did get to see up close a super bright nate caught and released. They're in there.

Had to have a little fun with that one. The fish we saw released was close to 36" all day long.

Yup. I have caught quite a few steelheading. They get big, one was almost as big as a steelie!

Wait until you hook-up with a sturgeon with the bobber/jig rod.............:yikes:

One of my favorite holes on the Sandy I had to quit fishing because I was unintentionally snagging to many sturgeon.........
