10 Mile Creek Fly Fishing

Does anyone have any tips for Fly Fishing on the 10 Mile Creek near Stonefield Beach area?

Hobster and I hit that for steelhead in February a couple of years ago, we waded and fished some pretty water but didn't find any steelies.

If you check the regs, NW Zone Exceptions, it is closed to ALL fishing April1 to Nov30. Only open to fishing for hatchery steelhead, Dec1 to March31 (trout and wild steelhead would be C&R during these dates).

Fished with friends who each caught a steelhead on 10 Mile this past February. Lovely water in the winter. Keep looking at the forecasts for those weird beautiful winter days that sometimes happen on the coast.
