HELP, Landowner Blocking Historical Access Point to the Miami River, How To Proceed

That elitism dealing with fire prevention is part of the problem and results that have caused so much destruction in So Cal. Not exactly the same but similar.

HELP, Landowner Blocking Historical Access Point to the Miami River, How To Proceed

Like this gate, landowners many times will post signs saying private property knowing full well they can usually get away with it. Seen it in CA, UT, OR, AZ, ID and SD. Usually their bluff works. You bring up a good idea, go to the county I see what they show. X and Gaia both show a corridor...

HELP, Landowner Blocking Historical Access Point to the Miami River, How To Proceed

I know the road and agree with the idea it is, using different map sources, the road itself located on public land. I think the landowner with the land on each side of the road has made improvements to the condition of the road and the bridge up to his house. While not agreeing with his gate and...

    Boat and ramp etiquette

I like to hang around the Garibaldi ramp and watch guys yell at their driver on how to back down ramp to pull boat out. Rather than get their lazy asses into the vehicle and get it to the water. On a good day you get to see the wife tell him where to put the boat.

    Poor access to fishing areas.

The city did the easy part, they talked about. Talk is always standard first response from government, hoping it just ends there and they can call it done.

    Poor access to fishing areas.

Maybe progressive government and societies are not everything they are cracked up to be.

    Fish (Bait) Identification

Tossing the few you catch is not going to help nothing currently, the smallmouth is there for good. It will take more money than can ever acquire to eradicate. Tossing on the bank is now a psychological thing

Devils Lake has some new Grass Carp

I hope they were sterile carp, I have seen the results of plantings gone wrong.

    Tillamook cutthroat?

Never said they didn’t. Saying they didn’t came from between your ears. I very clearly said I hadn’t seen one.

    Tillamook cutthroat?

That is my belief. I have fished that watershed some as it is local and I target trout and never seen one that far up. Other trout families but not the Sea Run family you are targeting.

    Tillamook cutthroat?

I would not count on it, slightly possible, but highly improbable.

    Smallmouth bass fishing near Eugene

Some parts of the John Day at the right time are the greatest confidence builders for fly fishing. Poppers or a mouse just get it in the water. They may just be dinks but they are fun.

Lost: fly box w/flies on Crooked River

That’s a bummer, I lost a box onetime. The cost and collection can be replaced but if it was a gift it really hurts. I now have a little stickers on the inside with email. Naturally once that is complete I have been little more careful and haven’t lost a box again.

    OFF fundraising

It appears to me other people are also expressing their mind. Rude and abusive, maybe but what that's their opinions.
