yah no late elk is dumb.... specially when half to forest is locked down for "fire danger" it makes it kinda hard but w,e i guess thst means that many less elk to be shot and that many more for next year lol and i csnt wait for late deer rattling in bucks in the rut is freaking fun.

yep. there r 2 ways to do it they got one that clips on to the head of the herring or one that slides over it iv seen some that had a wire in them and u can bend it to your prefferd spin bit iv only seen one of them pretty cool design though

well i know its a few days late but i ended up going to lincoln city to fish the salmon river but nothing came of it seen a few fish roll but thats it i did find some eggs there are 2 guys selling them on craigs list. good prices and good eggs imo. but with elk season ending on the 22nd im done...

was wondering if with the ammount of rain we got if its to early to start fishn the holes just above tide water? spinners and bobber and eggs will be my gear. iv got the steelhead figured out now need to get salmon

thats where i grew up... bobner fishn dont start till up river around strome park and trolling id use k15 and k14 kwick fish wrapped in herring and pull nose spin herring 1 rod a few feet from bottom and one in the middle zone good luck out out there

think small and dark... 1/16 1/8 oz micro jigs in red,black,purple,blue under small floats clear or the small thin wood ones and 8 lb test with a nice 8-9 foot light spin rod and fix the float to ur line. use tiney swivles if needed but for summers up there i like to tie it all into the main...

i have pulled a bunch out of the slaw and lake creek moast were low.. below the fork of lake creek and the slaw i am planning on going out there wed. morning small spinners and 3 inch steelhead worms with sand shrimp smell work wonders
