I've been fishing at Milo McIver my past few trips and i've come to like the river bend area of the park, mostly i've been fishing jigs and it has been fairly successful but recently not too much luck with em thinking about switching to spinners/spoons next time.
Any recommendations on using eggs vs jigs and other hardware on the Clackamas for steelies? I'm not sure i'f it's primarily hardware time or are eggs working well?
I'm trying to find some new areas to fish on the wilson, i've never been really productive on that river which, is sad i know because i hear all the time how amazing it is, do you have any recommendations for productive areas to fish for steelies.
I have a Daiwa low profile baitcasting reel and mostly fish the coastal rivers and have been using Maxima ultra green last winter. I was reading some posts on braid and mono lines and was curious if anyone had any tips on line. I'm thinking that the ultra green is mostly good for higher waters...
