Fishing near Silverton

I'm scheduled to go with my wife to Silverton next week and I'd like to do some fishing while the wife does her thing. Can anyone suggest a stream nearby that I can get a couple of hours of wading in? Not looking for a specific honey spot - just suggestions of stream names.

Silver Creek, Abiqua Creek, Butte Creek.

Lots of trout in those streams listed above. Also, the Santiam is just over the hill.

I thought Butte Creek was closed?

Road access up high toward campground was closed a few months ago. No idea about today, and the lower stretches near Scotts Mills are still accessible.
