Finally got my first steelhead out of the Wilson today! Big native buck that I returned happily to the river. The video is terrible due to the rain but it was a beauty!

Nice fish! I like taking my dog out fishing too but she only has fun when i catch fish so i dont think she enjoys every trip.

I wasn't exactly skunked out there yesterday, but all I got for my efforts was a native that turned out to be a ragged looking, black/red coho of all things. Had me fooled for awhile due to the feisty scrap running down river and a bunch of death rolls, but alas, when I worked it in close I eventually realized I was not dealing with a steelhead. Bummer.

Feels good to get that first Steelhead out of the way, now I just want MORE!
