    Help identify this fish!

Found in the Minto Brown Slough off the Willamette in Salem this afternoon. It was about 80F outside for the third day straight, really muggy. The only species I've ever caught out of there are Pumpkinseed and northern pikeminnow or sqawfish, whatever they are called!

    First crappie!

It didn't put up much of a fight, only time I have seen my smallest bobber not go under, but instead just start moving around in the water lol.

What a trophy! Lol Caught out of one if the sleuths off the Willamette by Salem!

Maybe I'll start using those hooks, I fish some snaggy spots and hate losing those damn things!

    Decent day at Detroit Dam!

Well, we kinda just let em slide off into the water, most of em snap out of it after a minute or two and swim off. Yeah it's still low, but Mongold(sp?) still open, if you're putting a boat in.

    Decent day at Detroit Dam!

Yeah, released em all, but went again this morning with my dad, and we each caught our limit in less than two hours!

    Decent day at Detroit Dam!

Not any big trout, but plenty of small ones! We fished for about three hours, had sixteen between the three of us.

Carp outta Willamette (off bank @ Minto Brown in Salem)

Caught this little guy this afternoon, pretty sure it's a carp with it's big ol' sucker mouth and nasty green-yellow color. It didn't put up much of a fight. Using worm & hook! Anyone know any other spots near Salem that hold these guys?
