    Help me get some shad?

Can't eat good bait, unless we're talking about calamari! Should pick up any time here, but I don't know any guides that advertise trips for em.

New guy to forum and surf fishing....

There's some guy on youtube called fishing with jd that has a pretty sweet surf perch tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC7VzbkABV8 I use a double hook system with two 3way swivels and a pyramid on the bottom, instead of the egg sinker that he uses in the video, though. I get mostly...

Any good bass fishing near Molalla?

There are several parks and access points. However the water temp is down so you may be better off targeting different species.

    Upper Willamette sturgeon

It's a bit of a row (atleast to me with how out of shape I am) but upstream of willamette park in WL there are several good spots I used to go to.

Max range for black tail with 150 gr 30-06

If you want to extend range there are a near endless amount of variables from projectile construction, to B.C., to load, to rifle twist rate ( to match the bullet weight), and on and on.. Most simply put, a heavier bullet is how you stay effective at putting down animals as you extend the...

    New spinning rod

Tons of great factory rods around $200. My vote is for Certified pro, like the x96js - or a custom rod.

November fly fishing for trout. Which flies?!

Ha! those are rather mature for a trout. Sprinkle some cure on those bad boys. About the subtle sip, you will see a massive array of different types of dry fly takes. From insane to "where'd that fly go". Generally there is a decently noticeable sip.

November fly fishing for trout. Which flies?!

I like seeing the hare's ear brought up a few times. Generally the first thing I try when I go mess around in the lakes.

    Drifting the Clackamas

My .02 on river level for the clack. If the water is 12ft or above and fish are in, expect dozens of (or 40) sleds beating you to the best spots, and running all over hell all day and eating the wakes. It's part of how that river works, so don't get upset by it. Drift boat use on that river in...

    Drifting the Clackamas

Ok so from barton to carver, the wall above carver is the worst spot - and is very easy to avoid. There are two other corners that it you aren't watching might give you a scratch on the paint when you are new(Riffle below Tomans is one of those due to inability to dig the oars in the shallow...

    Diffent warranties on Spinning Rods?

Lamiglas gets my vote. Gloomis is supposed to, but after an absolute nightmare dealing with their customer service I no longer own anything with that brand name.
