Update: 4 1/2 hours today with not a sniff...guess I should be thankful I got 1 so far this year? Sadly that might be considered a good season the way things are...hope things get better for all of the fish runs ????

I sure hope things get better after a piss poor steelhead season and now a lousy spring run. Even last fall wasn’t much to speak of. Heck it’s bad on the whole west coast of North America. What happened to all the fish!

I have lost at least 3 over the years that were in the 20 pound class. It happens and it sucks, but I have managed to land 3 or so that were in the high teens. Just keep fishing...

I realize nobody likes to talk about rivers or spots on the internet much and I get that, but if anyone wouldn't mind PM me some info on the Molalla. Just wondering about species and timing really. cheers.

have yet to fish it, but want too. think i will try it this august

like the rest of the northern coast, the Siletz is basically **** poor for summers... They didn't seem to show in any kind of numbers this season...but cutthroat are around and Kings are coming...:D

yup...low and slow or should I say, "no show" :(
