I am making weekly videos this year, hoping they can liven up the bass forums here at OFF! Enjoy!

    Steelhead reel

Yep, Citica's are a solid reel, the cost between a citica or a curado isn't much for me to not justify going with the curado, specifically the curado E series, the new g series are not near the reel the E series was. If you're to go with one of their current reels I would recommend the Chronarch...

    Steelhead reel

Don't skimp on a casting reel, try to get a model that retails in the 150$-200$ and you will thank me later. I like shimano's stuff.

    1st largemouth :D

Nothing wrong with eating fish on a weekly basis, I love to eat fish, I choose not to eat bass even though I probably catch enough to never have to spend a penny on food over the course of a year. Bass are one species that is really ill-managed in my opinion, that doesn't mean they aren't a...

    Some recent fish

Always love your magazine quality pics! As far as the fun/challenge factor I've got to assume it'd be hard to beat a carp on the fly!

Can someone teach me to bass fish!??

I was just wondering if you were talking about carp.......... If that is somehow baiting salmon fisherman then so be it, I only tossed Salmonid species in that post because I know your not talking about bluegill, and past that you start running out of popular target species in Oregon...

    Bass video

I had to delete some files off my computer and didn't want to lose them forever because some parts would be good in a future video, so I made them (mostly throwaway clips) into a full length video... Turned out decent.

Can someone teach me to bass fish!??

Yea, a staging area is some form of stopping point between deeper water/cover etc...... and a spawning area, typically a flat with proper substrate, small rock, pebbles, heavy grain sand, occasionally dense mud/clay. It could come in many forms, a dropoff near a flat, a point, etc.... This is...

Can someone teach me to bass fish!??

Awesome, will given your location I would assume that most lower elevation smaller bodies of water up there are currently in all phases of the spawn for largemouth and likely smallies in the Columbia, you will be able to find fish shallow on and around beds, deeper if they are post spawn, and in...
