We also offer 3 hour bay crabbing trips. This is a lot like a Deadly Catch trip where the passengers are baiting/setting/ and pullling pots. They also get to sort the crab. All crab caught is kept by the passengers, to a limit of 12 each. A lot smoother trip since it it is in the bay.

Usually kids fare a lot better than adults. Just make they aren't full of sugar .. just kidding.

We will move to different reefs, even if fish are showing up on the sounder, no guarantee they will bite.

We had 17 passengers today, with 9 being children. Capt James and deckhands Karl and Brian, on the Ocean Captain. passengers worked hard for a total of 35 rockfish, all sea bass. Lings were not cooperating today. We love to have families on board, children 5 and under are free, and 6 to 12 are...

We had 3 passengers scheduled for our 6 pack boat today. Ocean conditions looked excellent with a flat ocean. Unfortunately the 6 pack hit a log in the bay, and bent the prop. We had to re-schedule the trip. I hope this is an honest report. The wheel will cost $600+ to repair.

Excellant question. I took a 48 hour charter out of Port Aransas, TX. There was an engraved sign on the rear cabin that stated "If you have anything that appears to be a GPS unit it will be tossed overboard". We don't care if you bring a GPS on board. There are enough sport boats out there...
