Winter fishing.

I'm in Newberg. I am looking to do some winter fishing. Is there anywhere to fish trout within an hour or so from here? If no trout, where do people fish for any types around here in the winter?

trout fishing is closed in most waters this time of year, though im not familiar with your area. your best bet would be winter steelhead on the coastal rivers. Brian

A good place would be Sheridan Pond off hgwy 18 right by next to the prison. its about 30mins away so not too far. They put in some nice fish earlier this month so i believe it still should be open.
