Well I had a bit of time on my hands today so I decided to head to the Big C in hopes of getting into a few summer steelies. This is to long of a story to fully post so i'll keep it short and sweet. I caught a couple sturgeon poachers in the act and got to give them the shaft of justice, and oh how good it feels
. They broke about every rule there is. Using barbed hooks, retaining multiple undersized fish, no liscense or tags, fishing while out of season, and probably a few others
. I'd like to give a big thanks to Ken, or Keith, I forgot which it was, for nailing these sob's:clap::dance:. He drove from mollala to bonneville to nab these guys in the act, and did it in record time( I swear he must have been doin 110). As for the steelie fishing, my pole was only in the water for about 1 of the 3+ hours I was there, and the only takedown I got came while giving a description to the dispatch lady. The other 2 hours were spent running around trying to get liscense plate numbers, and trying to befriend one of the poachers in hopes he would show me where he put the fish and what size they were. I'd also like to thank Osmosis. I'm ashamed to say I don't have the TIP number on my phone( although I do now), but luckily Alan answered his phone and gave me the number, so thanks man. And one last thanks to all the poachers out there
. Thanks for making me waste one of the few days i'll get to fish in the next few weeks, I really enjoyed spending all my time reporting your a$$'s.
