Water Temps?

I am starting to get the bass bug bad! What are some of the water temps you boaters are seeing out on the waters. I live in Wilsonville and will be hitting hagg for some trout but want to head south some for some bass. ray::think:

I have not stuck my thermometer in a pond yet, but I have tomorrow OFF, so I will post the results to give you an idea. Also, I am trying to plan my first bass trip this Saturday and I was looking at the private lake on google earth. I know the water warms faster in the shallower areas, and it seems to me that the areas in the August photo with the most aquatic plant life would probably be the shallowest right?

Sorry didn't get back to quick enough. Being I am from AZ I am still trying to get used to really cold waters. From what I have heard the North east sides of most bodies of water generally warm up faster. That being said I also believe that the smaller the body of water the faster it warms up. So yes I believe your assumption is correct.
Good luck and bent rods.
I am heading to Hagg today

Just got home from my favorite private bass lake. I landed 13 in just under three hours. Water temp started at 53 and came up to 58 in the shallower west side. No hogs, but they were all between 2-4lbs. My buddy landed a 6lber. The last time I fished this lake was last April and I lost count somewhere after 30, so 13 is a slow day
