Water temp.

Hi all,
I was at Hagg about a month ago and no one was catching anything.
The word was that the water was still too cold.
Is that still the case?
Where in the lake is the best place to float near dock A or dock B (I'm in an inflatable, and don't want to row accros the lake)
Thanks!

Heading to Hagg on Friday

I am going Friday. I will post something over the weekend. I think my fish finder has a temperature gauge. I might even be able to provide a report as to where they are concentrated if I can get my fish finder working. I have always done well trolling if the water temperature is right and the lake is not too murky.

Water temps should be fine now, for bankies. I limited out 2 weeks ago using chartruese powereggs. I would recommend fishing from the bank, but maybe I dont know how to fish from a boat on that lake. :) If you do end up on the bank, drive towards boat ramp c (the one with the pier) and take your first stop on the right, next to the rocks. There will be a pure sand drop off/shore line area that is very visible. Fish from there if the water is still up (probably not anymore). Cast 2 powereggs on a size 8 or 10 hook 30 feet and wait for a bite. If there isn't anything fish from the bank at boat ramp C

I was there on 5/9, and it is starting to pick up. Two of us caught our limits of trout trolling. We also lost a few & put some smaller trout back. What worked best for us was a green beaded wedding ring tipped with a piece of worm behind small flashers, no weight. We also tried some still fishing close to shore with worms & caught a couple perch & a bluegill.
