Welcome to the forum pdx89.

Mind you, this was last weeks temps

The Columbia @ 42nd 42.8
The Willy @ Meldrum 41.2
The Clack @ Cross park 40.1

My back yard pond (today) 45.6

I doubt the temps have come up more than 1/2 degree since last week.

if you know what your doing, and with a bit of luck you might catch a few. thats my opinion, i would have been on the river if i did not have to work. even the fact that your on the water with final some sun is a must
Good luck

The water temp on the lower Willamette yesterday was 45-47 degrees. The Columbia has been running about 6 degrees colder. Bass are being caught, just not in large numbers yet.

hey all... finaly some nice weather:dance:
i had been on the river (Willamette) on Monday before i headed to PSU. i did not have a rod, but i noticed a few fish jumping in some what shallow water near the bank. maybe those are bass. with this warm air, the water will get warm faster.. can't wait to tackle some big bass;)
