Thanks, very timely. I have seen that rig with yarnies also but the two were much closer together. Any thoughts on ideal distance between the two beads?

The longer the leader, the more line there is to floss them with.

Honestly as a rule of thumb I fish 2 foot to 3 foot leaders . Beads being 3 feet apart. Smaller rivers I'll do 2 foot or 2.5 feet
