Tomorrow is the day

Well I have made a thread previously about making my trip to Oregon with brother/girlfriend and father. We fly out tomorrow morning at 7am from Houston and I can say I am extremely excited! I just finished packing the rest of my fly fishing bags/rods/gear. Has anyone been hooking up at all the past week? My mom (who lives on the Mckenzie) said the weather is actually very sunny with a nice temperature outside. From what I have packed so far are size 6-8 buggers, WAY to many stoneflies in all sizes, Flashback pheasant tails in 12-16, Tungsten princes 12-14, WD 40 in grey 16-18, Griffiths Gnat 18-20 (for this time of season) and 2 gigantic boxes of all the colors of the rainbow streamers/egg sucking leeches/Egg patterns. Bringing my 5wt rod and 8wt switch/spey. I am hoping that with the 8 days of fishing I will be doing something will be attacking my bugs.

I will be starting to fish about 3 miles below the Dam where my moms house is, from there does anyone have any ideas or where I could possibly pick out a map or layout of the river? I will be carrying both rods with me wherever I hike so hopefully I will be able to do a mixture of trout/steelhead fishing although I am really going to be driving myself to fish for the chrome the whole trip lol  Will be posting pictures soon of my flies so hopefully I can get some positive answers that I will be taking the right ones with me hehe.

The Caddisfly in Eugene has a handy fisherman's pocket map with the Mckenzie on one side, Willamette on the other for about $3, that I like. Google Maps is always a great way to check out a river, and try the search function here.
Sounds like you are well equiped.
For chrome, your in the right neighborhood.
Have fun (and be careful, water is chilly this time of year)

A few of them were my hands tying them but watching someone else tie the exact same one, BEST WAY to learn lol. The rest of them a guy I work with/personal friend tied the rest.
