Anyone going out on the Clack or Sandy Thursday? I'm headin out somewhere and haven't decided where yet.

Hey VA,
I'm headed out Thursday after work to the clack...I'm trying to decide on the spot though, haven't had any luck at Riverside or High Rocks yet (been going a few times a week at least). Are there more fish being caught up higher?

I haven't been up any higher than Riverside since the last HIGHwater. I saw quite a few rolling monday night around Cross Park. Thinking of starting there and working my way up as the day goes on.
Then again I haven't heard any reports coming out of the Sandy...and silence could be an indicator of fish being around:think:

Cool - Good luck. Maybe I'll see you out there...If you see a asian guy with a digi-camo fishing pack carrying 2 or 3 poles that's me.
I haven't hit the Sandy yet (I'm kind of new to town) but will probably go to the oxbow area this weekend. If I have any luck I'll post.
I saw the pic of that native you caught the other day. Nice work by the way!
Do you like to drift or float fish at Cross park?

I have gone back to drifting almost exclusively this year. I had been float fishing pretty heavily for the last two seasons and when I broke out the drift rod during the last Coho run I realized 2 things. 1.) I really love drift fishing, and 2.) I need to get back some of my drifting skills cause I was rusty as hell.
