Three rivers?

Does anyone know how to get to here from McMinnville? kinds of bait or if there are any fish to be had?

only an hour away :D :) thanks Big! now to ponder if I have the gear for it and to go find some bank access

As far as gear goes, You can use drift gear, float gear, or hardware. It doesn't really matter. The whole river is only 2 miles long so there isn't a lot of places to fish. You can fish the hatchery, the S curves or hit the mouth. There are a couple small spots inbetween but a lot of private property. The summers are starting to show up in small numbers and a springer was sighted at the hatchery a few days ago. 3rivers and the mouth of 3rivers is the best bet right now because the nestucca is staying above 7 ft with the constant rain. Unless you want to head up in the upper nestucca sections.

I prob wont be able to go till next weekend or so when I get my salmon tags. it will all be new to me so im not sure

Well by then more fish should be moving in. Im still waitin for the water to drop so I can hit it a few more times before I switch to the santiam. Usually the nustucca gets its first springer around this time. And I started getting summer steelhead last month, so they're should be a good few around.
