Might be heading over to camp at Thompson reservoir in Lake County soon. Never fished there. Anyone familiar with good sports on the lake and what is productive there?

Heading into summer you will want to stick closer to the dam. Still fish bait on the bottom or troll spoons. Flyfishing with minnow or leach patterns in the deeper water might produce as well. Some big rainbows in there as well as some good sized largemouth.
You might want to fish some of the creeks in the area as well, buck creek has lots of brookies and rainbows.

Mosquito report:
Thompson Res. Present but not real bad. Small and it didn't seem like they were there until you didn't have any repellant on. 23% and 40% DEET worked fine.
