There is also some nice crappie in the Yamhill. Unfortunately, last years high waters cleaned out most of the cover that we found them in so we will have to find them again.

My parents live in Sheridan. I've always wondered if there were fish somewhere in that river. Does that happen to be near Sheridan?
That's where we found the crappie and bluegill also. I have also fished for bass between Dayton and the old Yamhill locks in my little jon boat. I have caught a few crappie by the locks and both largemouth and smallmouth in that stretch.
