titanium is brittle. you'd be breaking them every time you bounced off a rock on a cast...

I can't see any photo either! What kind of wire do the rest of you use? I got 25 feet of Stainless steel leader wire for $1.60. Is that a good price?

Yup it worked! I don't see the reasoning behind using titanium wire? Stainless steel seems to work great and is VERY cheap.

Titanium wire is lighter than S.S. and harder to bend out of shape. It retains it shape/bend better than S.S. after a fish hits it hard.

At least that's what I've been told. I don't see a reason to pay the higher price for titanium though.
