I drove up to Hagg lake Wednesday morning, and spent a couple hours fishing the west end... with no luck. The water was a cold 39*, a couple feet visibility, and still iced over up there. I did get one bite on a black bugger, and saw a few fish on the finder. I talked to the lady at the Lake Stop, and she said it was stocked Monday, but at the dam because of too much snow at the "C" launch. (that has since been plowed) Good to get out on the water though.

This early in the year...long lining trolling OFFERINGS within the top 10' of the surface, and in front of the creek outlets, usually does the trick. Where the drop OFF's are. But just like us, they don't move very far in cold temps.
