The Xi3 remote lanyard rings are known to fail, more than likely over the gunnel.

I found this TKI CNC metal frame that secures to all 4 screws in the remote, definitely won't fail now!

Quick release bracket came in as well, not sure if I'm going to use it.

Seat is mostly out of the wind when the kayak is in the bed of my truck and I don't want the extra failure point.

I have quick release seats on my Frontier and my Coleman crawdad. I never had a problem but the nuance quick release is slightly different in size. I can't interchange the seats.

Lithium showed up, on the charger for the next 7-10 hours I guess. I haven't decided on how to wire it in to the boat, for now it will sit just as the led battery did.

I decided to modify my kayak cart, after others had issues with "hull sagging" in their garages in the summer, I decided to expand the table of my cart to a full 12', new carpet, and found some memory foam to put under the carpet down each side to support the the hull where it curves up from the keel

Temporary scuppers came in, these are by far my favorite I've used, they seal better than anything else and never come out, but they do hold a tablespoon of water

Battery box in progress, I shipped quite a bit for a box that would fit it, but everything was off by a 1/2"

I ended up using another DeWalt Tstak box, same thing I use for my tackle.

Going to paint it white or tan as well.

Pretty impressed with the Trac Outdoor trolling motor plug. Similar to an Anderson plug, but with caps and less plastic.

The Bluetooth battery reader works great so far

Only thing left is to tidy up the boat, add some foam weather stripping and Velcro

3 hours on the Umpqua and about an hour on Ford's pond, only burned 5% of the battery!

Need to add a rudder and perfect my storage, but other than that, everything ran great.

Seat mod in progress, raising the seat frame by 2" with steel tubing, which now allows for a drawer to be installed under the seat.

That drawer is money. I’d be forced to do something about the logo, but I’m a bit odd. Looks killer.

In actually going to paint the drawer and my battery box with Krylon Fusion in "ivory" color, my tackle box is Krylon Fusion flat white, but it's blinding, all about keeping the heat from the sun away.

But leaving the logos and yellow accents lol!

You can buy the same drawer with red accents from Craftsman

Fixed rudder (skeg) project, it's spring loaded to the down position, or can be pinned there.

No holes in the boat, I used a factory trolling motor plate that bolts through a factory hole for accessories.

Waiting on the springs to show up, need one plastic bushing.

I built something like that (made out of plywood) to my Coleman crawdad. Made a huge difference in fishability.

Hoping this will be enough!

Planning a test run tomorrow at Alton Baker, we'll see how the chair assembly goes

Dropped some coin on some Ram-X / Hobie rod holders, one for each side

Ram ball/kayak rail base, rocket launcher style, I also looked at ram amount tube jr's, I liked that they locked the reel, but were much "busier" and the rod handle stuck out the bottom

One Objective kayak keel gaurds, one at the bow and one at the stern.

Seat is done

Went for a test run, rudder helped a lot with tracking

Only ran into one issue, the tempress rod holder I had mounted to use in the front is in the way now. I plan on moving to a forward track

10 hours on the water yesterday. Battery still about 70%.....

Only ran into one issue, the rudder

I don't have a good place to strap the kayak at the rear now, and I think it's still twisting behind me, I'll need to put an angled brace across the top.

I did throw my front rod holder on a gunnel rail, while not the prettiest thing in the world, it worked great

Kayak running great, a little "too" good.

I am sending the 100aH battery back....and getting a 60aH.

Tops I've used 20% over the course of a weekend. If 60aH will cover all but maybe 1 or 2 days while days of fishing, I'm fine with a little paddling. I actually paddled for a solid 2 hours on the Umpqua at big k

With the water so dirty I had no idea where the rock would be, so I just pulled the motor up and paddled after getting upcurrent.

Will also drop about 15lbs and 2sqft of deck space if I can run a smaller box.

Plan on putting it over the deck hatch at the rear, which is all a waste of deck space.

I did have some water in the hull, I did not realize the rear deck hatch has to be clicked closed to latch, and it was sitting in a puddle at the car wash.

Just flew back from Florida

One of the projects on my to-do list was lower my storage table, it was about 3.5" over my tailgate, in some cases even rolling into the bed

My last kayak slid onto PVC bunks which added about 6" to the ride height in the bed

Much easier now to load and unload

My old battery is on the way back to Wisconsin, Amped Outdoors even paid for the return shipping. Still had the original box, just had to drop it off at UPS

Ordered a waterproof case for the 60aH I'm going to order, have to paint it, can't find anything tan that will fit a battery that's 6.5" thick unfortunately
