Monster nook caught last August in B.C. !!!!!

From Salmon, Trout, Steelheader magazine. The record--for hook and line--was 98 pounds, which stood for many years. But...check this beast out!

Important to note that this fish was NOT taken; in order to weight it for the IGFA records. They released the fish. So it's not "OFFicial".

It's common for Rivers Inlet anglers to let the giants go to preserve the genes. Good for them. They care more about the run than having their name in a book.
