Since our bass lakes here in Bend/Central Oregon are closed and/or water-deprived, I was thinking about heading up to Le Page Park where the John Day River joins the Columbia River next. Since I have never been there, I'm heading up to check out the park and facilities without the Gregor next week. Planning on shore fishing a mile or so in the afternoon and then the following morning. Are Senkos and crank baits the preferred/recommended method?
