ive heard of people doin it on the deschutes

It was weirder to me to read Genes name over here:D
I bet he see`s one way before it`s actually to him. His stuff can be in the water and on it`s way to the hold, meaning the fish has less chance of seeing a splash, lead or line. The OFFering is in his way and he won`t put up with that.:cool: I`ve considered it in a couple drive up and fish holes, birds eye view:lol:

Funny most fly fisherman carry those overly small wooden nets cause they're easy to pack, yet some carry a 18ft ladder along too! hahahaha

I agree that it seems kinda crazy but I hear it is one of the preferred methods during the wintertime to catch Lahontan Cutthroat in Pyramid Lake, NV. The guide we use during the warmer months says he catches more fish in the winter using these than from the bank or his boat. Pyramid Lake Crosby Lodge Fishing Chairs
