Kidnapping Raincatcher in the morning and headin to the water. We're gonna try a different spot. So should we go north or south? We're in Salem. Thinking about the Sandy, or the Clackamas if we go North. Mckenzie if we go south.

the clack and sandy are both tailing down towards the end, it's not worth that far of a drive right now.
I dont know about the mckenzie but I'd personally suggest to look coastal.

Problem is, all coho in the Salmon are native and cannot be retained. The body of the chinook run hasn't hit yet and they are all sittin outside the jaws of the mouth.
The Siletz isn't doin much better from what I hear.

The Nestucca hasn't had much action in the last week or so.

So, I'm kinda stuck as to where to go.

There's some good steelhead to be had in the McKenzie right now. I'm vomitting and feel like crawling into a 6 foot deep hole, or I'd probably fish it myself, as I feel like I've been neglecting her lately, spending too much time coastal when there's an overlooked gem basically in my own backyard
