I'm planning a 10 day road trip that is including the John Day Basin area and am looking for advice and tips. It is strictly a trout outing for now. Looks to be about mid to late June. Anyone with experience with this areas trout waters? As an aside, I'm for the most part a novice fly fisher and fish wet flies 90% of the time. Thanks.
