Nobody huh? lol I guess I'll be the first person to ever fish it. :p

I think I'm going to camp on the upper end of the river. if the fishing sucks I might drive down lower.

Hey Joe,

Don't bring your dog, wear boots, and listen close for the rattlesnakes. The country is worth it though.

I don't have a dog but I'll pass on the info.

Still not positive about where the camping will take place......... if at all...... i hope it does.

Will let you all know what happens.

I never did update this after the trip.

It was wet. lol Not soaking but wet. Had lots of firewood though so the fire never went out.

The fishing really was poor. With all the rain the water level was too high and the fish were not biting.

The only thing that was caught was a whitefish.

Great looking area though. We had a Doe Deer in the camp that wouldn't leave us alone. Looks like it was fed and a fawn because it kept coming in for food.

Camping there

Camping there

Hey, were you able to camp right along the river. Or did you have to stay at a camp ground. I am looking for a good area to go that is not on a camp ground. Just roughing it camping along the river. thanks

I don't think I'd rough it along the river. like one of the posts above mentioned, rattlensnakes. Lots of them. It's been a couple years since I was up there, and it's pretty country...but man, I can't handle the snakes lol. Lots of good fishing to be had though
