Help identifying this rod!!

I found this fiberglass rod on the label said "Ike Walton fishing tackle made in usa, no 2727, 6 foot" so I don't know what kind of rod this is, but I'm guessing a fly rod, the line guides has been removed and the reel mount it's weird and it slide along the cork handle!!
So what I want to know is this rod just garbage or what??
Thanks for the help!!

its an early spin rod with adjustable sliding ring reel seat... its a piece of ****, toss it- or you could use it as a tomato plant spike or something like that as to recycle it into a new field of work-

Yep. The later Fenwick ultra lights, were infamous for the sliding reel seats. This one looks like a spin rod to me too. It might be usable. But, you'd probably have a lot more fun with a better/newer rod.

Oh...and don't forget about the gardening perspective either...
