Going To North Fork

We're headed out to North Fork this Saturday to check out the
early season bite. We're taking a boat for the first time. Can anyone offer any advise on where and how to fish the lake at this time of the year?

Yeah, we just got back and had a great day. got lots of trout. We just found a place and anchored near the shore and got bite after bite. None of them were monsters but they were pretty nice size. We also went to Harriet last night and caught a couple monster rainbow trout. that was nice:D

NF is fun to fish i started fishing it back in 69 right after High school..over the years we found out that grubs, bumblebee rooster tails, work great there..worms and power bait work good also but I am one that likes to try something different to see if it works...we fished it early like now up to the 4th then layed off until early sept.
