Freeway lakes

took my pontoon out to freeway lakes this afternoon caught a few little bass and some crappie. i have not found a big bass out there this year. normally i can find one at least one in the 6 lb range every year. anyone else been out there lately

Have always seen a number of vehicles there ,have also seen some very nice fish posted out of there too. I have thought about giving them a try !

next time you come up FP you'll have to make a stop there on your way home, not very far from here. our pond hasn't been touched since we went last everyones too busy working

Ive been thinkin youve probably been puttin in some long hours right about now ! Dont think your missin much yet ,the heat is comin now though,its been a very weird year with little to no pattern ! will hope the onset of real summer weather will fire them up! Get your fluids gonna be hot this week TR!

Right on enjoy while you can ,will say that after fishin your place wont have any prob drivin right by that mud hole by the freeway on the way home ,have found nothin that matches yours yet , and you know TT and I spend a lot of time checkin out water truly a special place you got there !

I caught a 6lb 11oz out of the 3rd pond a week or two ago before I left Corvallis. Biggest of the last 2 years for me. Good sized fish. Caught him throwing a unweighted senko on the very east end of the 3rd lake, where there is the large flat shallows. Fished that spot about 3 evenings in a row. Did very well there. Most on senkos, and throwing buzzbaits after sunset on the hotter days.
