Fly fishin' Little Lava

I'm gonna be going back up to Lava lake to do some campin' with friends and family this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any recent reports of what's working and what's not?

It's been almost a year since I was last up there, and I was killin' 'em on the dry flies, primarily a black ant pattern, but was just lookin' for any other suggestions?

I just have a cheap 5/6 weight with floating line, no sink tip.... I know last year there was a guy that was slaughtering them with wooly buggers off the bottom, but, I have no fundage to invest in sink tip line.

I was up there late last month, dark sinking patterns off on a long dropper; using a Misquote pattern as a strike indicator. A great starting place is on the south end over the dark spots of grass, take an extra bag of smiles - you will need them. Great place to be.....
