Fishing through the drought

I tagged out on Wednesday with two nice bright steelies and a 11 lb hen today on the east fork of the millicoma. The fish are there you just gotta find them and then put the stalk on. one piece of white yarn and a smidge of egg has been the ticket. And for all the skeptics bright green p-line has no effect in clear water and yes that's a tall can!

Nice fish! Things are tough on the Coos bay area rivers right now! And things don't look to improve much in the next 10 days, low and clear! We fished the East Coquille yesterday, not much going on there, way too low to fish! Only hooked 1 small hen that had been ravaged by a sea lion! Didn't see any fish in the low, clear water. Don't think we were fishing over very many!

Nice fish - good reports as well. I like fishin' low n clear winters every once in a while - they just glow when ya spot em... good times!

East fork Coquille is one of my favorites I can't wait for the water to come back up and hit that.
