im taking my friend fishing for his first time ever. whats a good beginners spot with what baits? any fish type, a fish is a fish is a fish

a lot of people fish by the dam or boat ramp c. Garlic powerbait has been good for trout. I try floating it anywhere from a foot to four feet off the bottom. Worms are a good choice if you don't care about what you catch. Just about everything in Hagg will go after a worm.

where could i get garlic powerbait?

At just about any place that sells Berkley Power Bait. If you can't find any, just get some Garlic scent and add it to your bait. It works on worms too; apparently cuz some of our fish are from Italy! Kidding, but it really does work.
