My brother in law catches a lot of steelhead on hairs ears in natural. He will run two of them, might be something to try.

Streamer:
Orange accented Intruder (I know it's not technically a streamer, but it is undeniably effective. Now, if I could figure out how to tie one in less than 2 hours.)

Drys: 1: Parachute adams 2:quill wing caddis (catch way more fish than elk hair, but isn't very bouyant)

Nymph 1:hairs ear 2: copper john

Streamer: All black bugger

I tie those with a palmered hackle under the wing, that is two sizes smaller than the hook (size 18 hackle for size 14 fly). It really keeps the back end up.

I love nymph fishing, Golden Stone or Woolly Bugger....I still haven't caught a fish on a dry fly; must not be holding my mouth right...

Hey BigSteel, can you post a photo of your peacock stimulator? I'm having a hard time finding one and I like the sound of it.
