Eagle creek need help

Alright so i went to bonnie lure last weekend with a friend from school and got some great tips but I might go to the hatchery this weekend and wanted to know if I should fly fish or spin fish with the forecasted high water. Just working on my first steelhead.

if the water will be higher, use heavier gear you can still use flies just make sure they are weighted really good. if you are spin fishing USE JIGS. ieasy way to cover a lot of water and pretty darn effective on Ec from what i have seen this year. dont just take my word for it because i dont fish the creek. just tryin to help out a bit. and welcome to the forum! tight lines,
