This is why I couldnt figure it out google maps doesn't call wheatland ferry wheatland ferry they call it Marion ferry! It seems like a long time trip for such a short distance but I think they count in the ferry time?

you might check out the posts about St Louis. I used to fish it as a kid, but Ive been very let down the last few years. If Its stocked, there will be tons of people there, until the majority of the fish are in trunks, then slow again. Id almost rather fish it when theres only a few fish, and only a few fisher people. just my 2 cents, good luck wherever you go, Brian
I almost forgot theres also a park with some cats and bass in it, maybe trout thats on the east side of the willamette, and just south of the ferry. I believe its called Mission Lake. check it out too
