Coos Bay 'cribs' April 28 with Pepper

I treasure these salt water outings with Pepper on the back of the Hobie, she is getting close to 11 now (based on her rescue age estimate when we adopted her in late 2012). Last count, she's been on 8 ocean and 12 near-ocean (CoosBay, Siuslaw) outings.

Good job, Rodger.I am aiming to get there next week, Monday or Tuesday, weather permitting.
I gotta ask, How deep were your crab pots?
Looked like a lot of rope you were pulling up.
I seldon sink my traps deeper than 25' and usually 20' or less.
I don't take my dog along, she's a bit frightened of being onboard.

yeah, those are my ocean pots with 70' of rope.

I was crabbing same area you would, 20' to 30' of water on the channel side of the cribs.
