Tried some new water today a with some new fishing buds as well, we launched the kayaks about 130PM And got off the water about 8PM

The water was BUSY with people, paddlers, people tubing, ski-ers, you name it. There was enough boat traffic to start washing the clay off the banks, first 10' or so was real muddy

Saw lots and lots of full trout stringers today, we were targeting bass but ended up with trout, crappie, bluegill and bass

I caught 3, slow day on the water a learned a ton though, caught one a senko, one on a rattletrap, and one on a spinnerbait

I also don't own any crawfish baits. Need to fix that

You sure get around!

I still have not dusted OFF my kayak this year. It's about time.

Great pics once again!

Those bass look really skinny. It almost looks like the big head/skinny body of fish that can't find enough food. Might just be postspawn or it may that Copper Creek is just not a great habitat for bass.

Post spawn I would imagine. There are some monsters in there for sure according to fishbrain, I want to try the west side of the lake next.

I like to take the kids up there. One day we caught 6 species. Trout, large mouth, bluegill, crappie, catfish and perch.
