Cooper Creek crappie

Been doing fairly well with black crappie at Cooper Creek reservoir east of Sutherlin. Been after them at least once or twice a week since the beginning of August and have only come home empty handed once or twice. Don't keep anything under ten inches and so far the biggest one was 13 1/2". Most have been caught on Bobby Garland baby shad jigs with a cast, count it down and then a slow retrieve, no bobber. Crappie nibbles have been game changers on days when they getting finicky.

Boat or shore?
I've found them off a boat. I'm not sure the areas I've caught them are accessible from shore. The reservoir has a lot of bank access but the best fishing is from a boat in my opinion.

Boat or shore?
Been fishing from shore actually. Have a nice raft, but been doing well enough from shore havn't used it much so far. The 13 1/2 incher I mentioned, actually came from underneath the wooden dock by the dam. Also, forgot to mention that I've also caught a couple "trophy size" trout on crappie tubes under a slip bobber.

I have a ton of jig bodies. What weight heads were you using?
How deep were the fish?
